Congrats To My Cyclical Cushie Sister!

Congratulations to fellow cushie Monica! She finally got her diagnosis today! A pituitary tumor they found. She has Cyclical Cushing's which is much harder to diagnose since "The diagnosis may be difficult to make because sometimes the hormone elevations come and go: so called "cyclic" or "periodic" Cushing's disease" haha I just googled that because I couldn't explain it in my own words. Anyways I have been talking to her for months now and I felt so bad that I couldn't diagnose her myself haha like this girl needs surgery!! but every cushie has to go through the long process before the doctor can refer you for surgery. The Surgery is like the end goal we try to reach. Or the prize for a cushing's patient. It could take months to years and so for her to find her answer is huge! I am so glad that I could be  part of her progress and I know she will feel so much better!! You're almost there beautiful!

How cute is she? She doesn't look like a cushie but that is why it is so much harder to diagnose a cyclical patient.
